This year’s conference MICROTHERM is being held at a conference center located in the ‘Sports Bay‘ on the campus of the Łódź University of Technology. The ‘Sports Bay‘ is a complex of sports facilities, including sports halls, a swimming pool, and other recreational amenities, which participants will be able to enjoy during their free time. The conference center is situated in the same location, providing easy access to the sports infrastructure for those interested. The campus of the Łódź University of Technology is well-connected to the city center, ensuring convenient access by both public transport and car.
The organizers recommend accommodation in hotels located not far from the conference venue. Most of these locations offer special discounts for conference participants.

Lodz is an industrial city in the centre of Poland. It is a place of contrasts. Its specific climate, Art Nouveau style and omnipresent historic tenements can make you addicted. Most of the building façades, many of which date back to the 19th century, have been renovated. The best example of urban regeneration in Lodz is the Manufaktura complex, occupying a large area of a former cotton factory dating back to the nineteenth century. What makes the city original is that it is surrounded by huge Lagiewniki forest that is the biggest forest on the city outskirts in all of Europe.
